MSDE SP3a directly on top of SP2?

Hi,
Can MSDE SP3a be installed on top of SP2 without first uninstalling the
latter?
Cheers,
Adrian

MSDE Rel A, updated at sp3a level, from the
http://www.microsoft.com/sql/msde/do...s/download.asp package, can not
upgrad existing instances at this service pack level, but only install new
instances..
but you can use the package from
http://www.microsoft.com/sql/downloads/2000/sp3.mspx , or better
http://www.microsoft.com/sql/downloads/2000/sp4.mspx for service pack 4, to
upgrade existing instances to the current/desired sp level without removing
them...
