MSDE fooprint

I want to use msde as an embedded database with my
application dev on VB.net. It is a small application who
demo version i want to post on net.
What is minimum footprint of msde i can use? Or what are
the options to reduce the footprint of msde? Also mention
how different options affect its size.
Thanks

the minimum download package is

MSDE Release A, 43317 KB, and there's no way to make it thinner

|||I think you can make it thinner, although I have never actually tried. The
package contains 16 different versions of certain files (for each different
instance), and I am quite sure you can do without 15 of them.
