MSDE dsn connections

I have set up a dsn connection, but it is slow using it
in access. Any thoughts
Yes, avoid DSNs whenever possible, they use ODBC which is known to be slower
(part of the reason it's been deprecated). If you can set up a linked
server using the OLEDB provider you might notice some performance, but if
you're actually seeing slowness to an annoying level or worse, I'd guess
that there are some network issues as well.
